[s-cars] Chipset for Hybrid Turbos?

Paul,
Your chipset will probably be ok for a TO4E however I think you
would obviously want to monitor your A/F ratios initially...as the TO4E
will be pushing more air. You can also look at putting in an Adj. FPR
and gauge so you can tweak. I did a write-up of this on AW. Also can
consider lowering your boost via a VMAP-D pressure transducer (if you
have one vs. the Bosch 3 BAR) initially to get a feel for the car.

But more concerning really is going to be your bottom end and head
hardware...the potential for issues at 350WHP and especially beyond that
is sort of scary. Josh Moody runs a similar set-up that you are aiming
for and has not done the bottom-end and hasn't had any problems. But I
know it is on his mind under high boost runs. I believe he dyno'ed
around the 350 mark.

Also beware, as I sure you know, that you will have more lag then an RS2
turbo. We are talking 3700 RPM before things really start to happen.
But once they do...oh baby.

Cheers

Cody

Subject: [s-cars] Chipset for Hybrid Turbos?

I want to go with a K26/T04E 50 Trim. Nothing extravagant, as I want to
keep
this a daily driver for a long time.

Will the RS2 Chip be okay for my application (RS2 Manifold, FMIC, 3"
Exhaust,
K26/T04E 50 Trim with Delphi Lucas 37lb injectors)? I am shooting for
about
350WHP, more if possible.

Thanks,
Paul
-p.s. - is there an easier way to search through the archives through
google.
I've been typing in the search field:

"[S-Cars] Turbo"
