That would be DUCT TAPE as in tape for ducting. Otherwise know as SPEED TAPE 
in my USAF days for its inability to hold on to things at speeds up to 150 MPH 
and not beyond. Of course, 150 MPH 
does not get you airborne in a C-5 so it was just about worthless to tape 
things down. USAF mechanics did love to use it and sign various ailments off as
