Mark: Thanks very much. That is exactly what I found yesterday in the car. The Bentley is WRONG in regards to POS N127 (for cylinders 4 and 5). The Black/yellow from T55/20 goes to pin 4 on the four pin side of the POS and then to cylinder no. 4 via pin 1 on the three pin side. The Black/white wire from T55/21 goes to pin 3 on the four pin side and then to cylinder no. 5 via pin 2 on the 3 side. Pin 2 on the four pin side is a ground and pin 1 of 4 is blank (the spare channel). Pin 3 on the three pin side is correspondlingly blank.

There is an old post hiding in S-cars.org FAQ's on this but, naturally, I couldn't just accept it without doing my own research. Thanks to those that helped. Now at least I can hook up the 1.8t coil packs in the correct order (once I track down two four pin connectors for the ECU signals and two three pin connectors for the 12 VDC coil power).

Here goes..
CC'd to the list for others reference...............
ECM Connector PIN 1 - Green w/ White tracer - Ignition to POS#1 Cyl 1
ECM Connector PIN 2 - Violet w/ black tracer - Ignition to POS#1 Cyl 2
ECM Connector PIN 23 - Black w/ Gray tracer - Ignition to POS#1 Cyl 3
ECM Connector PIN 20 - Black w/ Yellow tracer - Ignition to POS#2 Cyl 4
ECM Connector PIN 21 - Black w/ White tracer - Ignition to POS#2 Cyl 5

Confirm these back to ECU, Alldata does state the wire colors may vary from
car to car.. go figure. Like we have never seen that before.
