[s-cars] Differential Grinding

Hi All,

My 95 S6 had been running perfectly for almost a year with no problems 
whatsoever, and wouldn't you know it, as soon as I began thinking about how 
good the car has been recently, another problem has just reared its ugly 
head. 

I just discovered that when I turn the wheel to the left, even the slightest 
bit, in any gear at any speed, I begin to hear a clicking/grinding noise 
coming from the rear of the car. It's almost like the noise you hear when 
you change gears without the car running and the door open, very metallic, 
and it clicks according to wheel rotation, I wouldn't say it's a 1:1 ratio, 
it sounds slower that that, but it does get clicking pretty rapidly at 
highway speeds. I'm no mechanic, so if it's something complicated, like the 
diff, I'll need someone else to do the work, but i just thought I'd check to 
see if anyone else has experienced this problem first. Thanks for any help.
