Is it really worth the .20 that you will save per gallon? Which is in fact
the same .20 you would have saved when premium was 1.79 per gallon? Yes it
sucks. Yes both my cars require premium. The wife's 95 S6 wagon and my
"economy car" 91 318is (it's my commuter). I just told the wife to make
sure she REALLY needs to run that errand that is going to take her across
town. Then combine that errand with other stuff. I definitely drive more
conservatively in both cars, stretching that mileage as much as I can. I
can get close to 30 mpg in the 318 driving like my Grandmother. HAHA

At midnight in Quebec, the gas will be up by almost 30% at 1.35$CDN a liter
for regular (approx. 3.89USD/gal!). So, after having turned my back to
regular since I bought my very first car, I think I'll be soon ready to pump
virgin olive oil in my S6 or any other alternative as long as the S6 goes
faster than my feet with it :(
