as i was discussing with my wife and her friends tonight, most of us
will 'weather' this issue fine, no matter what we decide. i live on a
larger property and have an '04 dodge 1/2 ton that i actually need. i
won't be quick to sell it, but it sits more than it's being driven
lately. <g> what i think about, though, are the people that won't be
able to get through this easily (short or long term) and don't have
a real option about what they drive. this is going to really affect
a huge amount of people that can't 'laugh it off' like elijah and hope
for higher prices so others will have to sell their briefcase carriers.
not a lot of heart in his post.
