[s-cars] Gas Prices-I'm right there with you Larry C

Rats ! How do we get off topic so fast?

Manny, I didn't read anything from Elijah about SUV's , but there you
are
defending the non-indicted. If you are rationalizing a Hummer or
Peterbuilt
pickup to rescue two boys, rave on. Oh yeah, I saw that go Bush!
But, anyone
willing to make an objective evaluation of the current situation,
can't ignore the
direct relationship between the Iraq conflict and fuel prices other
than the recent
spike due to Katrina events. I happen to think that this is an
unavoidable consequence
of pursuing the only rational foreign policy to combat terrorism.
But, there are
also mitigating actions the administration must pursue for those that
don't have
the options available to most on the list. And, as Ben Franklin
said, "opinions are
like a-holes, everyone has one.

The ignorant part: that's thinking you can comment on someone's
overtly political
crap without espousing some overtly political crap yourself.

Stick to s-cars and we'll all be better for it.

Tom
