[s-cars] Windshield Washer Help

What is the 3rd pin for on the windshield washer motor?  I am trying to
diagnose whether or not the pump is good since I am not getting any flow.
I have a brown wire that is ground (Pin 1)
I have a violet/black wire that supplies 12V whenever the switch is
activated (Pin 2)
I then have a green/red wire that has an odd waveform on it (Pin 3)  The
waveform is a 10 millisecond pulse approximately every 100 milliseconds.
The voltage during the 90 milliseconds when the signal is "low" is 1 volt,
the voltage during the 10 milliseconds when it is high is 5 volts.  It does
skip a pulse every second or so.  What in the heck is this signal and is it
supposed to look like this?

If anybody has a schematic of the wiper washer system as a PDF or something
they coule e-mail me that would be spectacular!  Thanks!
