[s-cars]Anyone know if the headlight reflector mounting clips can be ordered?

When we did the euro lights GB from PG performance a couple of years  
ago,
one headlight arrived with one of the adjusters broken.   It took  
Paul Jr. over
six months to get the replacement from Hella, with prompting phone  
calls from
me about twice a month.

I would want a better connection to the factory if I was trying that  
route again.

They are not available through the Audi Dealer.

In the meantime a lister (sorry, forgotten who) with a headlight with  
broken
exterior mounting tabs, saved me with the part.  Perhaps Force Five  
recognizes
the value of the inside pieces for the crash damaged lamps and  
doesn't discard
all the broken stuff.

I doubt you will have any success with repairs (even with some of the  
super
adhesives like ECS body repair adhesive) and still retain adjustment  
features.

Tip:  Gentle prying of the tit from the recess with a thin blade  
screwdriver to help
release the clip will prevent breaking the clip.  Ensure they are  
aligned properly
as you reattach one at a time.

You have shown the broken upper clip and the right side lamp lower  
adjuster.
IIRC, the left lamp lower adjuster is white.   I think I have the  
black clip, I will
search bits and pieces.  The two lower clips are mirror image parts  
so you
can put it on backwards and work ok for the opposite side.  No top   
clips,  though.
Perhaps another lister has some squirreled away.

If this does not work, there are used lamps on ebay.  I would not pay  
much since
they are probably as dirty as your old ones and  Shokan sells them on  
ebay
for $245 each last look I had.  Not continuous auctions, but fairly  
often.

Oops, those are A6/S6 headlamps.  S4's don't have the same commonality.
Good news, clips are the same, 100/S4 and A6/S6.

I'll check what I have available.  No charge if you need it.  You pay  
customs. :-)

You guys getting cabin fever already ?  Or, is it just getting dark ?
