[s-cars] 9011/9012 bulb question

Do I recall correctly that the popular mod is to use 9011
bulbs in both the High and Low beam positions? And that this 
can be easily done by trimming the 9011 to fit into the low
beam position?

Is there anyone that has done this? Did you like the result?

Does anyone have any 9011 bulbs to sell, I've called daniel but
haven't received a repy. Perhaps he is just busy?
