Don't know if many of you have come across this car news site:
<http://www.leftlanenews.com>, but they have a snippet from Motor
Trend on the new Bugatti (how many years in the making has that been)?
The highlights confirm that Paul needs this car as his new family
hauler:

* A second key is required to program the car into its top "speed" mode.
* How many other cars are ballsy enough to have a horsepower gauge?
* The top of the engine is exposed; there's no glass or other cover.
* It'll score you the best parking place at any restaurant anywhere in
the world.
* The audio system costs $30,000
* Switch the stability control off, and it'll spin all four wheels in
third gear.
* Going 0-to-250 mph takes less than a minute.
* At full throttle in seventh gear, the Veyron gets less than three mpg.
* What looks like a secondary rear spoiler is in fact an air brake.
* Bugatti Requires a deposit of more than $350,000 just to place an
order.

Heh, Brian... I'm flattered you thought of 'lil ole me here! Yeah,
<<<I wish>>>. Shoot at this point I'd be happy just to SEE one in
person let alone HEAR one let alone SIT in one let alone DRIVE one let
alone OWN one. My golly.

However... carazzzzzzier things doooo seem to *have happened*... as
precedent has shown me over the past fun 3 years. Multiple Maybach
Violation comes to quickmind, muwhahahaha, pardon. GT2, GT3, Cosworth,
F550, F355, 250GTL, 512... well I was thinking McLaren F1 might be a
good next step - heck I think you're right Veyron it is! 8-). I dare
Don Amoroso to beat me to the punch, I do! Heh heh...

Sooooooooo, at this point then I guess I'll remain cautiously optimistic
I'll one day flog one heh heh. Until then I'll suffer up and wail on
the F430 come April, my buddy keeps rubbing it in and making me
salivate. It ain't easy being me (kneepads pinch alittle)...

-Paul will hoar for Veyron K.

ps. I *finally* heard my first Carrera GT going through the gears in
front of me on I95N (heh, returning from Brooklyn in the S80 of all
days!)... that is on the must-do list fersure. Hearing it alone is
nearly satisfying enough. Nearly - must_drive_one_!!!
