Serge,

You're wise to take off while you have clearance from the tower - you 
never know how quickly the next storm will be arriving!

I have both WeatherTech mats and Lloyds mats.  The Lloyds came with the 
S6 four years ago.  Great quality - thick and plush - includes proper 
hold-down holes.  Don't know how old they are, but I'll probably order 
another set this spring as they are showing a little wear and fade (they 
are black but not as black as the carpet now).  They don't have the Audi 
logo in them as Lloyds isn't permitted to do that (only stealers can to 
that), but they have S6 embroidered into them.

I bought the Weathertech a few winters ago.  They save the rest of my 
carpet!  I just put them into the car this morning before I pulled out 
of the garage.  They keep all the slop contained - so much so that you 
will have to take them out of the car occasionally to dump the melted 
snow out.  Can't recall where I bought them from - somewhere on-line.  
Cost around $75 for front and back set.  Don't know what would be 
different for the Avant from the sedan (which is what I have).
