[s-cars] INOP Tach and Low Oil Press. Indication

Jim I to for a quite some time have had the Oil symbol flashing in the auto check display periodically. This definitely is related to the cold temperatures. It shows its face religiously every winter. When it first happened I replaced the oil pressure sending unit. This obviously did not fix the problem. Like yourself the oil pressure guage indicates no problem. My Tachometer is also functioning properly so probably not directly related, just another sign of a faulty component ( IC ? ). I will be following this tread closely hoping the guys smarter than us regarding these issues will be good enough to find a solution for our problem.
