Folks,
Yes, time is a factor in hastening the delapidation of the urS.
That said;  I "think" the wind noise window frame adjustment is quite
feasable.   I stumbled upon what might be this fix whilst field
stripping a rear door to free a corroded lack about 18 mos ago IIRC.
The entire disassembly of the door proved totally unecessary, but I digress.
In the front section of the door behind the interior panel there is a
small aluminum slightly curved wedge which is maybe four inches long
with a slot in the middle.  I believe the sole purpose of this Hans n
Klaus device is to adjust the window frame inward... the further up
you push this or outward.. the further down you position it.  There is
of course a bolt that runs through the slot with a nut to tighten it
down.
