Lee,
No - I have stock H3's, and I have found them to be quite adequate for normal night time driving here in the PNW. Not many places to do 80 around here at night, and I am not really inclined to do so. I have the HIR's in the lo's and fogs; they were an improvement, but I must say have been impressed with the enthusiastic results of the HID group buy.
As for auxiliary lights, about three months ago, I spotted a nice urS4 in the Home Depot parking lot in Bothell, WA. Green, Ecru, lowered. This car also had mounted in the very outside corners of the lower grill, two pencil beam PIAA's (1.5" Dia) ala LLTEK, but to a stock bumper. The corner grills had been modified very nicely, and it looked stock except to those who would know.
Lister?
Regards,
Craig Lebakken

Is anyone running the HIRs? They seem like a nice step up from the H3, but
are pretty expensive for a bulb that almost never gets used (at least around
here...)
