I know it's in jest, but that's not exactly true- dealerships techs
are paid by the hour, but the work is done according to book rate- if
book rate is 4 hrs. for a job, that's what the customer is charged and
that's what you get paid. If the job takes 10 hrs. for the tech to
accomplish, then you lost 6 hrs. On the other hand, if a 4 hr. job
takes 1 hr., you made 3 hrs. That's probably the reason why jobs get
rushed and things don't get done right, even though most shops will
make the tech eat any time for a "fix what you messed up" job.

ETKA is typically German- very difficult to figure out, unnecessarily complex.
