[s-cars] Bodywork woes...

I see a number of you are in the same boat as me - - need replacement
bodywork parts.
When I first bought my car two and a half years ago it was in need of a
number of body panels. The front and rear bumpers and the passenger side
fender. This was originally a Montreal car and must follow suit as in
European countries that the parking skills require that you tap the cars in
front of and behind you to get in and out - bumpers were well scratched.
So I decided to implement a plan to replace parts. I didn't like the NA
bumper scheme - sticks out too far due to the 5mph crash requirement which
no longer exists, which required piston shocks behind each bumper. Whilst in
England last year I inquired about a Euro S6 bumper from a dealer on the
south coast - Poole Audi. It was about 325 pounds, but I failed to asked if
that included the valence and grills. I shall research some more as I will
be in England in a couple weeks.
Nine months ago I was lightly rear ended and the bumper cover was replaced
courtesy of someone else. And now maybe forced in to buying new fenders on
both sides. I had intended to replace the passenger side as this too had
some scrape damage which is starting to blister - not repaired properly.
So due to the recent incident I will be accelerating my original plan to
replace front bumper and fender.
So those interested in front bumepers, would you be interested if I further
inquired about Euro S6 bumpers, which would also require mouting brackets
and guide pieces?
