Yes, I have one with the exact same problem.
The lack of proper fastening of the bellows boot (for lack of better words 
right now, I am sure I will be corrected) causes this problem.
The pits then abrade the seal, as well as poor design, and leads to water in 
the strut housing.
Water in strut housing freezes, and causes all sorts of bad things to 
happen.
