Maybe I've been smokin somethin', while I have seen the Autoweek article
few weeks, maybe even months ago that had a review of the car, it seems as
though very recently, near the front of the mag they had a tiny article, 3
sentences or so with a small picture, all inside that yellow orange
highlighting method they use for the short stuff, and I could swear the
thing said V 5 (the older article had an image with the 2.5 logo).

Guess I should see about getting those exhaust leaks repaired, or crackin
the window, or just maybe getting ride of the crack pipe all together.

Actually, the Autoweek I saw very clearly states it's an inline 5 and
the photo shows an intake manifold design consistent with an inline
engine. The only script the engine cover had was "2.5L".

I'm still having trouble believing they were able to fit an inline 5
transversely in that car. Maybe they took a page from the VR6 and new
Audi V8 and use a timing chain at the back of the engine.
