here are my comments:

i decided to start a new website based on a couple or principles.

I have been suing s cars for quite some time now. howerver, i feel
that unti lyou recentkly posted the ability to upload picture your
gallery's we're way outdated.
i also fidn s cars to be extremly north american flavoured. i prefer
teh euro look over the north amercian look anyday.

it is extremly hard to find galleries with a lot of diff variety of s
cars. most cars on s-cars are teh same cars from north amercia shows,
and there isnt that much new imagery, of new parts, new mods and new
ideas.

most of these ideas come from german language sites that are very
difficult to track down.
there is no copy right infringmenmt unless these photo's are actually
"copywritten" and owning a large multimedia company i know what it
takes to copyright an image.

I have written a diclaimer that the pictres are from a collection of
sites i have collected while browsing. Furthermore i have stated that
i will gladly remove them.

Darin, you and urs4 have had a quasi online oligopoly on old s cars,
and i do not see much new information on our vehicles.

I am building this site out of the need for something new and fresh in
the audi world.

I also have 0 interest in writting my own technical infomation...which
is why i linked and gave you full credit to articles you have
produced. I have found s-cars to be a fantatsic resource for ages, and
i have no doubt it will continue to, but i feel teh multimedia aspects
and general info has not changed much, i say that especially of
urs4.com. I think it is time to really expand the offerings.

What do i want to do with my site?
simple
eye candy.....
refreshing new pics
yes i have over 300 fully original photo's that i have taken from car
shows and outings.
I also have a 12 memeber s car group locally in montreal.

If yuo have issues with pics from yruo site on my site i will gladly
remove them.

I think haveing once or 2 deep sources for tech infomation important....
andi have no problem syndicating it either...
but my site will be closwer to an audi ezine.
it will be way more maagizne oriented.
i want to be able to show people what has been going on in german car
shows from last week.
what kind of new trends are going on.

there is nothing fresh in the visual stimulation on these old sites.
i feel besides good reading and tech infomation the sites have gotten stale.

i planned on having diff sections provided by diff people, and giving
credit etc...
but if you r anyoneis not interested,by all means i will find my own
contibutors.

will i do this for years?
who knows??!?!?!
will i do this now
yes.

my compnay owns over 20 online portals,
and build websites like gateway's new ecom site
general electrics websites
and many others.....

am i doing this to profit or take in even 1 dollar?
no!

does that scare you?
passion driven for no compensation....

well posibly...

because we are all die hard audi fans that are sick of teh resources
available today.
tech info is important.
and a forum or list is even more important.

2 areas i will not try to comete with.
my inteerest lie solely in sowing reader's rides,
pictures that you woudl never have seen unless you know how to search in german,
video's
news in the audi scene
and most likely a special group buy forum based on teh fact that i
have unbeliveable contacts fro parts in europe and am related to one
of the biggest trans atlantic shippers in north amercia....whic
essentially menas i pay noting for shipping!

so....
that being said...
and no i will not proofread any email i ever write...
call me a morron, but i write 150 emails a day, and if i had to
proofread them i'd only be able to send 75.

If you notice some of the german links in my tunning sectiopnm,...
i have permission from the majority of sites that have gotten back from mme.
which is why i provided a link to them.

i also provided a link to your s-cars
as well as urs4.com
why...
because that is where i started.
and i will never forget that.

but its simple...
i'm going to step up the game...

I have gotten many emails from people that wnat to contribute and i
think that is amazing.
if you ahve any ics or vehicles you woudl liek to submit please let me know.

darin, if you want me to remove the any pics that might have xom efrom
s-cars i wil gladly do so. i was going to ask to syndicate or have
links to yor tech stuff as i do right now...but somethiung tells me
your nervosity to the fact that i wnat to start a new forum will lead
you to say no.

if i am missinterpreting your tone and motives please set me staright.
but i am not trying to chase anyoe out here.
the inetrnet is a big place.
i just wanted to pick up where people have started to fall off.
