[s-cars] BPV 710N supersedes 710G?

I was getting ready to put my new 710N BPV in and have a look at my MAF to
turbo hose for leaks when I read the part number on the new BPV is 710G.  I
thought the 710G was superseded by the 710N.  Was I flim-flammed?
