looks,

we are all entitled to our opinions.
do i weave in and out of traffic...no
am i reckless no.

I am avery expericed driver, i have competed in many rally's in
northern montreal.
i have gone to jim russel racing scjool, and skip barber's skid school.

You have to understand that montreal drivers are in a diff league, and
i say that without hesitation. the city is one giant race track
literally, a mountain, with no sqaure blocks.
we get the heaviest snowfalls on teh east coast and are constantly
challenged in our driving abilities.

Montreal is known for crazy drivers, yet we have some of the lowest on
road fatalities...
why?
because teh city forcs you to pay attention at all times.

don't get me wrong......i drive fast, and safe.
i dont speed or ever go over 3000 rpms in suburbs, and i have respect
for drovers on teh road.

i have also spent extensive time in asia driving in bangkok....and
there it is all about being aware of your surroundings, and using diff
types of indicator codes to alert teh other drivers around you....

what i am leading up to saying is this...because of this experience i
have, and because i have respect for people on teh road, i feel as if
i am being safe at all times.

Say what you will, but i have been driving with pc's and blackberries
in my cars for years, and i have yet to smash, or even rear end
anyone., and that is a major statement in this icy city we live in.

If you want to make allegations of irresponble and dangerous by all
means do so, but i have never felt that i have been irresponsbile or
dangerous.

As for this resource,

i heavily respect many people here, and they have helped me in the
past. I have sold 2 of my audi's to happy members on this forum......

But when a memebr liek myself take sit upon myself to give back to
teh ciommunity and build a new resource.....and instead of
encouragement i get cheap shots, and all negative comments (with the
exception of a few cool and open minded people) it gets my blood
boiling.

Am i going to be civil, with people that dont give any respect? no not
a achance.
If you come out and attack me i will not sit idle.

it's not in my nature.
Know that i am the type of person to go out of my way to help everyone
before myself...and my circle of freinds can testify to that....

But i have been insulted, attacked and mocked by many people that dont
have many things of substance to say other than i am unable to type.
and then i tell people i am sorry, i am typing with my thumbs, i get
attcked for driving and typing.

look, if you or anyone else disagrees with typing and driving i urge
you not to do it. I on the otehr hand am on teh road all day, and
between my 3 business i have 68 full time staff....they email me all
day! So until someone invents a vocal dictation software for a
wireless device i will not stop typing and driving.

So i am sorry if you are losing patience by my attitude and responses,
but you have only had to endure reading the messages, i have had to
endure teh same comments coming from teh same people over and
over,...and quite frankly i am fed up.

i wil lnot be responding to any other ill faded atttempts at cheap
shots and groundless comments.

I will take yruo comments to heart, based on the fact that i have been
helped in teh past.
but i have no been antogonizing teh situation here, its people that
love to fight and argue....

I am simply standing up for myself and responding out of courtesie and
a dislike for 2 bit comment makers.

And as for your comment about older drivers.......
i agree fully, young drivers do not have teh experince needed to deal
with real life situations....but there is somthing to say about the
level of prudence one aquires while getting older.....which i feel
harms them on the track. to much thinking, less racing, and the level
of fears escalate.

All i can say is thank god us canadians dont have to deal with u.s.
traffic and motorlaws. That is one thing i am thanful to in montreal,
our european attitudes towards driving, which in turn make us batter
drivers than flat land no season grid layout cities....
