Yep, Tom's right. If you pull the alternator, it is actually pretty
straightforward to replace the bearings and the regulator all at once. The smaller
rear bearing is typically the one that goes, but do them both while you're in
there. As long as the armature is in good shape, you'll be able to get another
life out of it.
