[s-cars] BPV - I'm feeling inept

Stymied by the Cabin Air filter but undaunted, I moved on to my BPV.
Stymied again!!  I never took the old one out as I could not figure out -
given what I have in my garage - how I would reattach/clamp the small
diameter vacuum hose.  So.how is THIS done?  I'm taking a nap in the hopes
that if I start the day again I might actually get something accomplished
today.
