[s-cars] Wastegate spring mod???

Not to knock TAP in general, but the TAP chip for the 
urS cars is not highly regarded.  Rather than looking 
for a spring, think seriously about upgrading your 
firmware with either a new chip, or one of the MTM or 
other chips sold as other upgrade.

Question for the list... sorry if it's redundant. My 
94S4 has a TAP chip 
and a baily's diverter valve, that's it. Will a 
different waste gate spri
ng make any difference at this point? I want to avoid 
the RS2 upgrade on 
this car, and i don't want to have to install a fancy 
exhaust manifold or
header due to potential valve burning. I drive rather 
mildly for the mos
t point, but the occasional burst in the turnpike 
always comes in handy. 
I was going to rebuild the wastegate assembly soon, 
just for PM sake, and
figured while i was in there, perhaps i could swap 
out the spring. Your 
thoughts? What about the different map sensor TAP 
sells?
