I have some rally, track and winter experience. However, I can say that after 13years of type 44 cars in my stable, the torsen in our '91 v8 is seemless compared to the locker. I've also installed the torsen rear into the 5ktq racecar I service (mit big rear SB) and I can't say I saw a reduction in turn in response, in fact, I'd say just the opposite. That said, both the v8 and the racecar are open center/locked center cars, so some of the delay on turn in could be the center torsen allocation anomolies I've been known to be so fond of.

Me? I'd take a torsen before the simplified Bosch ABS IV EDL intervention regardless.
