Gentlemen
My FMIC is a hybrid of sorts. The original 24x12x4 core was cut down to
24x10x4 and had end tanks fitted by Turbo Engineering, TEC. Dave Jones of then
Revsport did all the fitting and fabricating. At that time we didn't want to go
with the current Apikol and Dave Stone routing of the post turbo plumbing around
the passenger side of the radiator. We instead went with a shorter custom
radiator and plumbed it to run over the front cross brace and underneath our new
radiator. This allowed me to run my Happersized Ram Air Intake System(RAIS)tm.
As time has gone on, Dave Stone has been instrumental in modifying my end
tanks and plumbing to its current state of efficiency. I should mention that Mike
Pederson has been instrumental in engineering a lot of the special features
of my car such as the Pederhousen Big MAF(PBMAF)tm, the Ford SVT snorkel intake
system, the custom short radiator, and on and on. BTW, the current Dave Stone
and Apikol FMICs are plug and play and are excellent in quality and finish.
