[s-cars] Permanent install of satellite radio antenna

That might work well in the flatlands, where one has a decent view of
the sky. In the mountains at upper latitudes, the angle of exposure is
already poor. I put my antennas on the dash and can see a difference
in signal strength headed northbound vs. southbound on the same road.
Another caveat: keep the XM and GPS antennas at least 2' apart. The XM
antenna field seems to interfere with the GPS sensitivity. I found
this out on my R1200GS. Mount them too close and the GPS stops
navigating.
