2nd on the sub-frame bushings, or even a missing subframe bolt.

Tim,
The same exact thing happened to my S6 except it was primarily
when I made right hand turns at speed, especially long sweepers.
 I neded up replacing the control arm bushings and the SUB-FRAME
BUSHINGS.  The culprit was the sub-frame bushings, I will bet
money that is your problem.  Make sure you or your mechanic
orders the metal sleeve for the subframe bolt, it's a dealer
only part and is most likely chewed up as mine was.
