[s-cars] Testing PCV Procedures? (Pressure Reg Valve)

Anyone have a good method to test this hidden valve?  It resides buried
under the Intake manifold..looks very much like a standard BPV.  Part
number 034 129 101A in the FA.  Is it just a matter of pressurizing the
intake manifold and seeing if you have a leak coming out the oil pan?
Or pressurizing the oil pan and confirming air coming out the Valve
cover breather that goes to the intake hose?  Or other?  Turbo is
smoking seeming even worse now since the oil change.  Also shortened the
Oil Return line about 1".
 
Scared to even boost her very much until get the new 034efi.com
High-Output turbo in-house. (TO4E w/ GT40 Compressor, #6 Hotside w/
P-Trim 65mm turbine flows 55lb/min at 30 PSI
