Hate to say, but it sounds like you're in need of a new head gasket. Mr.
Baloney, care to chime in on this one?

Btw-you don't really need to remove the tranny to change the head gasket,
regardless of what Mr. Baloney says...

HTH,
Jim

Subject: [s-cars] Coolant in the oil sump ????

I have a 3B motor in a Euro S2.

I have been losing coolant at the rate of 1 liter every 4 or 5 days. In
other words pretty fast. I can find no external signs of leakage.

I just checked my oil level and I am 3 or 4 liters over full. I know that I
have not put in that much oil inadvertantly. No way.

Can these two facts be related? Can I be having a massive coolant leak that
is collecting in the sump? Has this ever happened to anyone? Wouldn't the
oil be frothy when I look into the cam cover? I am going to tap off some oil
from the sump tomorrow just to check. The Fumoto valve sure makes that
convenient.

Rich
