[s-cars] Air Bag Light staying on?

Brent, I had the airbag light come on about 2 years ago in my 1992 car.
Removing the CC head unit to access the 2x2 connector is really pretty easy.
See UrS4.com for removal of trim pieces to access the screws securing the
trim.
Unfortunately I did not have my ProDiag at the time and had to consult the
dealer to cancel the light. The service dept was kind enough to just have a
tech come out and take a look at it. The tech felt this was common on cars
of our vintage to display the light about every 10 years. Once he cancelled
the light, it never came back on. Then I replaced my old steering wheel with
the S6 sport wheel, I was afraid it would illuminate the light. However, it
has never come back on. My advice would be to take it to the dealer, explain
you want the airbag light taken off and chances are they'll do it for you as
you wait.
HTH,
Chad
