[s-cars] Weird electrical gremlin with tachometer

All,

I just had this probem today.  Seems as if my
tachometer only will work if the brake warning
indicator light is on.  I tested this theory at idle
by applying the ebrake and the tach automatically
worked again.  The car is a 1994 UrS4.  Any
thoughts/opinions would be greatly appreciated.
