I think he's got it. That's what I understand. The Billzcat shortens the 
shaft. I shortened mine the Old Fashion Way, I cut the shaft myself, at a whopping 
cost of $00.00. I do use an aftermarket Euro illuminated 6 -speed knob that 
utilzes set screws for attachment. Mike Pederson had his cut and threaded, he's 
a lot cheaper than I am and wanted to use the stock knob, for a total cost of 
$00.00. I may be missing something here but I don't see the benefit of the 
Billzcat option. 

The Apikol SSer uses, as Cody has so eloquently pointed out, a brand new Audi 
linkage that is modified to shorten the throw. There is someone else out 
there that just announced their entrance to the market with a new SSer but I 
believe they are using the old linkage on exchange to do their kit. For my money I 
would go with the Apikol SSer and do your own shaft shortening.
