Removing screens has created problems for many Mustang guys, due to the fact 
that the screens act as flow straighteners. Cars end up running like $hit. I 
know many have removed the screens on their Audis and have been OK for 
whatever reason.

It's also a good idea to keep the screens in so that you don't stick a stray 
finger into the MAF and break the hotwires. BTDT unfortunately....

I installed a rs2 maf in my lehmann stage 3 with stock injectors and I swear 
I noticed a positive power difference...
