Like Bill said, check that clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder out first. That is easier, and cheaper work. Plan on $1500 off , or more, on the value of car. It'll cost at least that to get it done. You'll be hard pressed to convince someone that a non driving car is sound though...unfortunately. If you do it yourself, under $500 in parts plus your labor.
I see Baloney is dying to sell me out for 3 days on my back again. While I am at we should sign Bob R, Ray T, Don W, and Terrence M, up for the task too. They all helped. Besides, you need Bobs mega tranny jack:)
