[s-cars] speedo cable?

All... I have a sound that I'd consider to be the speedometer cable in need 
of lubrication on cold days, when traveling between 20-30mph.   the sound 
is only occasionally there - mostly when i first start out for the day... 
on colder mornings. 

The sound reminds me of an old Honda speedometer cable in need of 
lubrication that I used to have and successfully resolved.   Before I go 
looking, I thought I'd post to the list and see if anyone else had a 
suggestion.
