Right you are, Igor. I retrofitted HID capsules into the standard Euro
halogen projector. I've occasionally noticed bright HID flash off the
rear-view mirror of cars merging from the right as I come up behind them.
The halogen mask throws the HID beam up high to the right. It's great for
reading road signs and spotting moose, but probably not great for cars I am
overtaking. I suppose I could lower the mask to a flat beam, but I need some
upward throw to the light on the right side - enter the "Z" mask.
