[s-cars] V8 Torsen Diffs

Bob: My concerns arose because, during my never ending search for C4 S-car
magazine articles, I found/bought an Autoweek from 1990 (91?) that also had
an article about the V8. The article mentioned (rightly or wrongly) that
the rear diff ratio of for the automatic V8 was something like 3.83 instead
of the 4.11 for the manual tranny V8. I went "Oh, really??" and started
asking questions. (As you know.)

As an aside, I now have well over 80 20vt-related UrQ, S1, S2, 200 20vt,
RS2, S4 and S6 magazine articles in hand and have more coming in the mail
from various sources. Sometimes the info they contain is different that we
have assumed, e.g. the RS2 engines were assembled by VW at their
Saltzgitter plant south of Braunschweig.
