[s-cars] Fuel Pump

Ooooo. Sarcasm. As if you CO guys would be waiting for me to install a fuel pump. Maybe find another 'rare' magazine but not installing a fuel
pump. ;>)

Actually, I am still looking at the Bosch Motorsport 044 but mounted in a Coupe quattro 60 mm pump basket mounted in the stock location (not in a
special tank like you Hap). The hesitation on that install came from Ray Thomlinson (sp) suggesting that the 044 with a 4.0 Bar FPR was overkill and
that it would "wash down the cylinder walls". I don't understand how that could be. The FPR does "see" flow, just pressure and it is supposed to
maintain the differential pressure across the injector at a constant 4 Bar. The ECU controls fuel flow via injector duty cycle so I can't figure out
why Ray could be right. In the mean time, its winter and maximum boost (and attendant pinging) is not needed (or wanted). Traction limited
conditions. But spring IS coming (eventually) so I need to resolve this issue. Sean Douglas fixed his pinging problem with a less aggressive (but
not inexpensive) software.
