Hi Tom-Sounds right, but I think the suggested cleaner for the ICV is carb
cleaner.

Jim

Yo S-dudes....

A buddy has what I think is a gummed up ICV. I'm about to go check the
archives but I think letting it sit in gas/brake cleaner for a spell is the
common fix for this animal correct ?

Also, this last snow up here in the N.E. was just what the doctor ordered !
The 94 100csq sitting on 195/60-15's blizzaks is amazing. Absolutley no
tourque which means you can simply stand on the gas pedal. What a blast!

Hey the wives 01 on Graspics isn't that bad either. Number one son managed
to trash two tires on his VW courtesy of some huge pothole. He and the wife
went tire shopping and with him at the wheel of her car, he hits yet another
pot hole which wipes out one of hers. Two areas where the rim went right
through the rim protector on the tire. I figured the rim was toast but
visually it looked ok. Even the shop who replaced the tire was amazed the
rim survived ! Either he got real lucky or those stock Avus rims are
stronger than I would have thought... he won't be driving either of our cars
again any time soon though...

tom.
