Hi Paul;
Yeah, my right nozzle froze up a couple days ago at -30. I'm using -45
fluid, so it should have been OK. You have to turn on the rear defroster to
activate the heated nozzles, but mine didn't unfreeze until I parked the car
and the engine heat thawed it out. I'll have to check the nozzle heaters for
continuity - when it warms up.
Fred

Alcohol. I'd go with one of the clear ones -- gin or
vodka.
HTH.

SACRILAGE Kent!!! SACRILAGE!!!
Save that vodka for some nice Vincent or Igor "specials"!!! I *insist*
8-).
Um, since we're on the subject... my washers have been freezing the
last few mornings. Don't spray until I park in level D in my garage (D
for "D-thaw") for a few hours. WTF? I thought the nozzles were heated?
Did they give up the ghost like my mirror drop down in reverse function
(that has since healed itself gotta love that)?
Any way to 'test' if them thar little heater thingys work? I'm flashing
back to my old POS beater daze of tailing the car in front of me to
hopefully pick up some of his wheel spray to sufficiently wet the
windshield to allow the wipers to clear it. Rather annoying.
-Paul 'other' things to worry about right now than this realistically K.
