[s-cars] Door Lock/IR interaction. Does this make sense?

Do we know for sure the other doors &/or trunk were checked?

I know I often just "assume" everything else is locked, or unlocked based on
what the drivers door is telling me.  Never actually gone and checked to be
sure.

And the sedan's trunk vs. the Avant's rear gate ~ Oy vey, I don't want to
tell you the trouble dyslexic me has with keeping those two different
programs straight.  Trained on the sedan, I often forget and instinctively
try pushing on the Avant's key hole to release the rear gate, more than once
concluding the car is locked and doing a Mahoney to go back to get the keys
when all I really had to do was remember the Avant doesn't release at the
lock.
