[s-cars] WGFV

I thought *I* was the only one who struggled at this simple task. I can
never go straight to the correct part. I usually resort to using the search
function and trying (usually unsuccessfully) to think what alias Audi might
have used for this particular part.
The UK version of the FA is in my PC at the moment, so I had a quick look
for the WGFV. I figured it would be in Main Group 1 (Engine, Clutch), then
guessed subgroup 45 (turbocharger & wastegate) which turned out to be wrong.
Eventually found it in subgroup 33 (vacuum hoses with connecting parts -
AAN).
I found it by searching in turn for the word wastegate - no luck,
frequency - no luck, and eventually valve - lots of hits, including three in
1-33-70.
The WGFV is called a 'solenoid valve' - 034 906 283 H
The bypass valve is called a 'cut-off valve' - 034 145 710 A - marked
deleted, but no indication given as to part number of replacement.
There's another mysterious valve, also called a 'solenoid valve' - 034 133
517. After a bit of searching on google, Chris Miller's 20V site divulged
that this was the 'Vapour canister purge valve'.
I don't think Audi have made any effort to make the FA easy to understand -
presumably they train the chaps in the parts departments to distinguish
between all these identically/confusingly named components.
