[s-cars] Hydraulic System Test Guage and parts needed

After shade tree pedal pump testing the hydraulic system on a UrS6 and
getting confusing results I decided to use a guage. The VAG 1441 guage would
probably be expensive and hard to get quickly. I dropped by my local
hydraulic fluid power store and got a 3000 psi guage, 1/4 NPT to -4 fitting,
a 6' custom high pressure hose with -4 fittings, and a M10 to -4 fitting. 20
min and $50 later I had a test guage. It made quick work of diagnosis. My
bomb is bad and servo is leaking intermitently. The system sometimes would
not charge up at all. This servo leaks at low pressure unless it is in a
sweet spot at about half pedal travel. Once system is charged up pressure
would stay up. The only thing I could not do was test pump output volume
without pressure limiter VW 1354. I assume this is just a hose with an
undisclosed relief valve pressure. Any one got an idea of what relief
pressure this tool is?
So I need a bomb and servo. The bombs no big deal retail $250ish. The
servo is another matter at $550+. I'm not to excited about trying used ones
but at that price I'm considering it. Anyone know a source with a great
price on this or purchase one they didn't need.
