Thanks for sharing the photos, Eric
The only impediment to making a personal set of bearing presses
( these will install bearing sets also) is the likelihood of only using
them for one set of bearings and then having them stored away.
It would be nice to have a set available to share like rental tools.
If available, I would rent the sets that give you the additional  
mechanical
advantage and impact for pulling just in case you have a difficult
bearing to remove.
