[s-cars] More A/C advice needed

I believe the compressor has a speed sensor on it, those 2 extra wires
must be for that.

Subject: [s-cars] More A/C advice needed

OK OK...
I never said I was going to attempt to charge through the high side, so
you
friendly folks that are sending me death warnings off list can cease.
I'm
actually trained and certified in automotive A/C systems (so that I
could buy
R12), so I know better. Was just looking for a low side port, which,
thanks
to the help of Bob Rossato and _Robert at s-cars_ (mailto:Robert at s-cars) ,
I've
located.

The trouble... I can't get the compressor to cycle on at all.
Bypassing the
low side switch doesn't do it either. Low charge level may not be the
issue
at all.

So... due to the fact that I recently changed computers, I don't have
access
to my Bentley (need a new security code to load it). So if there's
anyone
out there with a few minutes to look... I would love to know what
signals can
keep the compressor clutch from activating, other than the low pressure

switch. There are 3 wires going to the A/C compresor. The one big one
that goes
in near the clutch, which I'm assuming is the usual one found on a
compressor
to activate the magnetic clutch. The other 2 are together, and go to a

terminal on the side of the compressor. Not familiar with these.

Was also at the dyno today with a couple of cars, and will post on that

later.

Thanks for any input!!!
Dave
