[s-cars] Rattling noise coming from the right rear wheel area

I've taken my 93 S4 to my mechanic twice and he can't seem to find where
the noise is coming from.  He says he checked the strut, bearings, brake
caliper/pad, etc. and sees no problem.  He suggested that I continue to
drive the car until "something happens".  What the f*%$?  I guess it's
also time for a new mechanic.

Anywho, the "rumbling" I'm hearing sounds to me like a loose upper strut
bump stop (hopefully there is such a thing).  Any S'ers ever experienced
this problem?  Mine seems to be getting more noisy and frequent as the
days go by.

Any suggestions from this fantastic group of folks would be greatly
appreciated.
