Those dampers are stuck on to the pads and are suppose absorb squeal
for the 911 tiptronic country club set ... I think.  "Buffy! What ever

Pizzo recommends squeal.

What he said.  As I told Sean I'm running same (Euro A8L slotted / 993tt
/ OEM Textar mit discs, no goop) and no squeal once break in complete.
Tho I'm not opposed either 8-).  Just not as much as my Mintex Reds
intermittently did for the 40k they proudly served me, down to back
plate.
