Could be.  I was getting some nasty missing which I am/was putting down to a coil problem.  However, I am not going to chase the coil "problem" until I get my Tom and Marc FMIC kit installed (finally arrived last Thursday).

For reference,
Last dyno run to set up my water injection, we saw (thru VAG-COM) an
intake  
temp of 43 C or so....
Under full boost (26 PSI) of my GT30R and running water injection showed
a  
increase to 63 C.

I would have been interested to see what your boost AND timing retarded
to  
at 193 C..
That's one warm intake temp
